In 2014 Ken Kesey's son, Zane, brought his fathers psychedelic bus, Furthur, from Oregon to the east coast for a three-month trip celebrating the 50 year anniversary of the trip Ken took with the original Merry Pranksters. Zane allowed newcomers, like myself, one week to ride On The Bus as new Merry Pranksters, attending parties during the week and festivals on the weekend. After my one week On The Bus I was hooked, quit my job and continued to ride Furthur for seven more weeks as my alter-ego, Air Guitar. I'd get on stage and play a Guitar Hero controller thus pranking the unsuspecting crowd into thinking my musical abilities exceeded that of an actual guitarists on stages that included Woodstock 45 at Yasgur's Farm, The Brooklyn Bowl and the main stage at Lockn'. From playing on stage at Woodstock and riding on top of the Furthur Bus as it drove into CoSM (Chapel of Sacred Mirrors) and Timothy Leary's home in Millbrook, New York I wasn't just along for the ride, I was reliving the sixties on Ken Kesey's Furthur Bus. This is the story of Air Guitar, Furthur More!
