A color-illustrated chapbook of poems and photographs about the unique wildlife of the Galápagos Archipelago. The work is the result of an extensive trip to the islands taken by a father and son in 2021. The poems (by father) reflect on the personalities and settings captured in the photographs (by son). They amplify the comments Charles Darwin made after visiting the area in 1839: "that mystery of mysteries-the appearance of new beings on this earth." Which led to his theory of evolution based on natural selection. 13 poems, 34 color photographs.
