Evelyn Cole, MA, MFA, writes novels because she finds them challenging and fun. She writes poetry because she must whenever life's needles poke her to wonder, shiver, laugh, love, scream or cry. Although she's too old to continue playing basketball, she still plays ping pong, attends critique groups and has published six novels, two books of poetry, a course called Brain sweep, and an Astrological cookbook with recipes suitable to the cook's birth sign. She taught English for 23 years in high school and college.
