Produktbeschreibung
Based on our observations in the present study on induced variability in J. curcas L. by gamma rays with respect to germination percentage, seedling survival, seedling collar diameter, shoots length, number of leaves per seedling, leaf area maximum in Chhatrapati genotype during germination and seedling growth stage; plant height, plant collar diameter, plant survival, number of primary and secondary branches, leaf area was maximum in Chhatrapati genotype; days taken for first flowering were minimum also in Chhatrapati genotype; number of capsules per plant, seed yield per plant, 100 seed weight, oil content, total soluble sugar, protein, free amino acid, total phenol content, moisture content was maximum in Chhatrapati genotype; superoxide dismutase was maximum in Hansot and guaiacol peroxidase was maximum in SKN Big. The application of 10 kR gamma rays radiation had stimulatory effect which may be best for producing wide desired variant in Jatropha crop improvement.
