The gangrene: from the tissue of the skin to the fabric skin. It is a question in this research of transposing the disease on the fabric by making a report extra/intra of the sick skin towards the fabric skin through a cellular world. This study demonstrates how the work of destruction of the gangrenous cell becomes a constructivist work of the matter on the canvas. To do this, the transfiguration and the passage to the aesthetic, was made according to three axes that interpenetrate and complement each other of a scientific approach such as alteration, putrefaction and mortification as finitude for a passage from an aesthetic to an aesthetic. From the gangrene towards the gangrenous canvas, the destruction becomes construction, the putrefaction becomes purification of the matter, and the mortification is transformed into vitalism. Also that the constituents of the painting in the analogies frame/bone and canvas/skin are questioned, it is thus that in the relation meat/bone where the relation between the sensitive and the cerebral is tied and from where the pictorial work draws its essence.
