Zach Wilson grew up with a crowded household and the sweeping tales of Saint George and the Dragon, King Arthur, and The Lord of the Rings as companions. The third of four children, Zach always possessed a discerning eye, spending more time imagining himself wandering in Middle-earth than paying attention to his studies. His love for high fantasy and far-flung lands flourished during his high school and college years when he traveled throughout Germany, Ireland, and England. His friends, teachers, and coworkers have always been able to find him scribbling ideas and drawings of elves, angels, and maps onto any scraps of paper that decide to fall in his way. And after a little encouragement from his amazing wife, Lauren, Zach has finally decided to organize his myriad ideas into his own sweeping epic, which he hopes will "deeply move" his readers.
