A Unique Book of Divinely Inspired Encouragement This book, the first in a series, lists a variety of emotions, with full-color watercolor paintings augmenting the scriptures chosen-peaceful beautiful reminders of God's presence to meet every need. It makes a perfect coffee table gift book, helping readers remember that God's word is as relevant to their lives today as ever. It would be the perfect gift for someone who is facing adversity. Or it can serve as a source of devotional readings, a simple yet profound approach-creative art combined with Creator words-reminding readers daily of the truth of Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires." "I wanted to give colorful, visual depictions of emotions and biblical texts that relate to them," the author said. "I trust that readers will feel more peaceful and tranquil as a result of reflecting on what they find in the pages of this book."
Autorenporträt
Ms. Iivari is a self-taught artist who enjoys watercolors and oils. She has dabbled in some acrylics and her forté is flowers. In the last few years she has focused on wildlife and scenery. Putting this book together started as an idea, but became a passion after losing her best friend/ex-husband Keith. Courage, strength and faith, along with family and friends that she works with, and certainly her two dogs, kept her going the right way. Twenty-four years of sobriety has brought a new perspective like never before: Life is fragile, precious, no moment should be wasted.
