Autorenporträt
About the Author: Veronica Horton was raised in a middleclass family, growing up in rural Minnesota. The fourth child in a family of six didn't exactly make her the middle child, but gave her an opportunity to be more of an observer than participant. Over the years she has honed her craft, writing poetry and short stories for friends and family. Having worked and held various volunteer positions and speaking engagements with the American Heart Association, and other agencies working with the public, gave her fuel for her passion of writing and creating characters that everyone can relate to. This is her second novel, chronicling the adventures of a young girl trying to grow up in the city, and sampling some of its interesting (and sometimes regrettable) characters.
