Akura Marshall is the author of Gary and the Great Inventors. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska to a military family. She spent most of her childhood living in various cities in abroad. Her upbringing gave her a unique perspective on life; and most importantly, she learned the true value of culture. She is a mother of two children and an entrepreneur. Akura is passionate about educating children and inspiring them to evoke the greatness from within. She has worked in the television industry for over 12 years and aspires to produce audio-visual and literary content to reflect the true voices of children and families worldwide.
