In this book we present the data of epidemiological survey which was conducted in the equine population of metropolitan Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan from September 2012 to August 2013 in order to achieve these objectives: (a) Determination of prevalence of common gastrointestinal parasites in the selected equine population of the metropolitan Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan, (b) Determination of associated risk factors and correlation among them including age, sex, breed, body scoring, physical parameters, and health conditions.

Urfa Bin Tahir erwarb seinen M.Phil in Parasitologie an der Universität für Landwirtschaft in Faisalabad, Pakistan, wo ihm von der DICE-Stiftung USA während der DICE 2013 der Titel eines herausragenden Forschungsstipendiaten in den Kategorien Biowissenschaften, Medizin und Veterinärmedizin verliehen wurde.
