Autorenporträt
Lindsay Gaze began his sporting career playing football with Melbourne under 19s and Prahran in the VFA before converting to basketball. He played in three Olympic Games and coached in four. He was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, the FIBA hall of Fame and the Naismith Hall of Fame. He played and coached his sport as an amateur, while his professional career was as an administrator. He was general Manager of Basketball Victoria and general Manager of Basketball Stadiums Victoria which developed and manage the Albert Park Basketball Stadium. Grantley Bernard has been a sports writer since 1986 with stints at the Ballarat Courier, Geelong Advertiser, The Australian, and Herald-Sun. He has co-authored several books, including The Andrew Gaze Story: A Kid, A Ball, A Dream.
