Susanne Hartwig is Holder of the Chair of Romance Literatures and Cultures (Spanish and French Literature and Culture), Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Passau, Germany. The main issues focussed on by her research are: What is the function of fictional and aesthetically structured non-fictional texts in societies and cultures? What does text theory bring to other disciplines? Her main research fields are «Images of Disability» and «Ethics and Literature».
