Women today are faced with the difficult choice between gaining success in a career or successfully become a family care giver. There are numerous social factors which affect the career decisions of women particularly when they also have a family that demands so much of their time.Workplaces are rarely gender-neutral. Though gender differences in the terms and conditions of one's employment are almost never codified in firms' personnel policies or in employment law, women nonetheless frequently find that they are in one way or another they are treated with some forms of discrimination tendencies by either their employer or work mates. This approach to gender equality recognizes that women are not inherently vulnerable but are rather the agents of transformative change. Achieving gender equality requires that the needs, capabilities, experiences and contributions of both girls and boys and women and men are taken into consideration, while acknowledging their diversity. Gender equality is not about transferring opportunities from men to women, but about creating conditions where each person regardless of his or her gender has the right and ability to realize their human potential.
