Collected data are analyzed using Epi info soft ware recommended from Food and Nutritional Department of University of Dhaka. It is found, a higher probability of child s malnutrition in rural area than that of general nutritional status of children in all over the nation. Parent s educational status and economic condition or family income is found highly correlated with children s nutritional status. Mother s knowledge of child rearing and health awareness is also positively impacted on children s malnutrition. It is recommended to increase awareness of parents and ensure equal opportunity to rural people for a better nourished nation.

Author wrote this book based on the observation on his locality and used extensive methodological analysis to identify current condition of nutritional status of children in Bangladesh.
