Women and men perform variety of agriculture task in their household. However in spite of their role in agriculture, there are disparities between women and men participation in agriculture. Therefore, a concerned effort is needed to promote gender equality in agriculture sectors. Thus, this study intended to identify the level of Male and Female farmers' participation in agriculture activities; to assess the gender disparity in agriculture household and to analyze the factors that influence the gender disparity in household level agriculture activities in Errer Wereda Harari Regional State. Three PKAs were purposively selected out of four and Stratified sampling was used to select 150 sample household. The Principle of Probability Proportional to Size (PPS) was used as a bases to fix the number of sample household. Structured interview schedule was used to collect the quantitative data from the sample respondents. To generate qualitative data, field observation; informal interview with key informant; discussion with focus group of women and men farmers were conducted. The quantitative data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and also chi-square, t-test and Binary Logit.

He joined Mekelle University and Graduated with B.A. degree in Management on July 7, 2007. Also he joined in Haromaya University and Graduated with M.Sc.in Agricultural Economics and Rural Development on 2013.
