Born out of academic curiosity, the author, a critical scholar, examines the gender stereotypic reversal process over the years. He beams his research torchlight on the Nigerian and Turkish "perceived patriarchal" societies on their deconstruction of the socio-cultural frames placed on sexes. His book which sprung out from an academic journey delves into the portrayal of sexes especially the female sex and the introduction of a new deconstructive approach called "Glocalization". A contemporary concept of global and local strategies which aims at not only initiating certain deconstructive paradigm shifts on gender stereotypes but also setting "the records straight" on women representation.
