The book discusses gender issues, dynamics and pragmatic path on enhancing equity in Tourism industry. It goes further to analyse systemic challenges and behavioural approaches to strengthen the industrial provision of tourism services. Moreover, a critical analysis of the pragmatic path followed by the owners of tourist hotels and curio shops in the process of designing, developing and strengthening their knowledge on gender issues at their work places is given. Lastly, a book offers a call for designing a gender sensitive monitoring and evaluation tools for tracking gender issues in tourism industry.

Elizabeth Msoka (Ms),is vested with interests on gender studies and, an assistant lecturer centered at St Johns University of Tanzania. She has been working with the Institute of development Studies (SJUT) since 2007. She pursued MA(Development Studies) at University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 2007.
