NANCY CAMPBELL is Professor of Science and Technology Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, USA. She focuses on intersections between history of science, drug policy and gender studies.   ELIZABETH ETTORRE is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of Liverpool, UK. She has also written, Revisioning Women and Drug Use.
