Ajaz Ahmad Rather, is a Lecturer of Economics. He completed hi s Masters in Economics from the University of Kashmir in 2006-07. Because of his interest in Development Economic she opted to work on Chinese economy in his M. Phil. Programme from the same university. He successfully submitted his research work in 2010. He was appointed lecturer in the Department of School Education in 2010. Imtiyaz-ul-Haq, is presently teaching Economics of Development, Economics of Growth and Macroeconomic s in the Post Graduate Department of Economics, University of Kashmir. His area of specialisation in research is Transitional Economies of Central Asia. He has written many research papers on the ongoing developments both in the Central Asian region and J&K Economy in the national and international journals. Haq has also authored a book on, 'Transition to Market Economy in Central Asian Republics' in 1996 and actively participated and presented papers in scores of national and international seminars and conferences. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Professor in the University of Kashmir, he has worked as Research Associate in t he Centre of Central Asian Studies of the same university and also serve d as Manager Industries in the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Government of Jammu and Kashmir from 1985-1994.
