Professor Sylvanus MUSHI BONANE, Autor des vorliegenden Handbuchs, ist Doktor der Rechtswissenschaften an der Universität Kinshasa, wo er seit dem akademischen Jahr 2014-2015 den Kurs "Allgemeine Kriminalistik" unterrichtet. Seit dem Studienjahr 2016-2017 unterrichtet er auch an der Université Protestante du Congo, kurz UPC.
