This work presents a summary of the work experience on the topic "Development of logical thinking of students at physics lessons in the module-competence approach", which reveals aspects of increasing the effectiveness of physics lessons. The urgency of the problem is that the educational process should be aimed not only at learning knowledge, but also at the development of thinking abilities, development of practical skills. It is also necessary to apply more widely teaching methods forming practical skills of information analysis, to pass from traditional paradigm of education "teacher-textbook-pupil" to a new paradigm "pupil-textbook-teacher".
