Through story-telling, commentary, typology and exhortation you will find answers to questions such as: Why did our Father create the way he did? Why six days of creation with a seventh day of rest? What do the lives of Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel and the others in Genesis tell us about his plan of creation and redemption? The book of Genesis is the foundation for the rest of the scriptures. In it we see the origin of man and the universe, and the fall of man and the origin of sin. We find why men are evil and cruel to one another, and why nations are at war. We also see our own condition and the struggles inside of us. More importantly, we see the remedy for sin through the sinless man, the last Adam, Jesus Christ-from Paradise lost to Paradise regained. The book of Genesis helps us understand all the rest of the scriptures.
