We learn the person and nature of God (as Creator, Sustainer, Judge and Redeemer) and the value of human beings (made in God's image, saved by grace and used by God in the world). We also learn what happens when we sin (the fall, the separation from God and His judgment). Importantly, we learn about hope (God's promises, forgiveness and the promised Messiah).
