Wheat is one the most important staple food crop in the world which is consumed by more than 40 percent of the gobal population. In this book we denoted the results of variability, path analysis and diversity of various yield and yield contributing traits under only three irrigation during whole season among the diverse genotypes. We discovered that the most important component characters in terms of variability, correlation, path analysis, and diversity under restricted irrigation conditions are the number of grains per spike, spike length, peduncle length, 1000 grain weight, biological yield…mehr

Wheat is one the most important staple food crop in the world which is consumed by more than 40 percent of the gobal population. In this book we denoted the results of variability, path analysis and diversity of various yield and yield contributing traits under only three irrigation during whole season among the diverse genotypes. We discovered that the most important component characters in terms of variability, correlation, path analysis, and diversity under restricted irrigation conditions are the number of grains per spike, spike length, peduncle length, 1000 grain weight, biological yield per plot, harvest index, and chlorophyll content. As a result, these characteristics should be considered as selection criteria for wheat improvement programmes. Among all the genotypes examined, genotypes VD-2020-11, VD-2020-04, 50th IDYN 722, 50th IDYN 718, and VD-2020-14 were determined to be high yielding genotypes in durum wheat under restricted irrigation circumstances. So, for the enhancement of yield and their component attributes, more attention might be given to these genotypes, and researcher could be planned for a greater number of seasons and places to collect more precise data.
