How can raw experience produce a complex network of neuron pathways which result in the conscience? This question has resulted in many debates among the scholars leading finally to the nature or nurture dilemma. To think that nurture results in conscience is thinking that if one were to throws bricks and cement together without any planning he would get a building? One way to tackle this problem is the hypothesize that the genome of a person plays an important role in the development of their conscience. The importance of genome on religiosity is well established but its value in determining and development of the conscience is undermined. A direct relation exists between religion and morality which leads to the understanding that genetics with the environmental factors result in the presence of conscience in a human being.
