Abdulrazzaq Al-Rawi est né à Bagdad en 1945. En juin 1966, il est diplômé de la faculté d'agriculture de l'université de Bagdad. En 1971, il a obtenu une maîtrise en sciences et en 1978 un doctorat en génétique (élevage) à l'université de Californie à Davis (États-Unis).Questan Ameen : diplômée du College of Agriculture, elle a obtenu en 2007 une maîtrise et un doctorat en génétique.
