Daniel Nzomba è laureato in ingegneria geologica, con specializzazione in geotecnica e idrogeologia. Geologo di campo con esperienza nella mappatura geologica, nell'esplorazione mineraria e nell'idrogeochimica, nonché nella modellazione geologica e mineraria. Assistente presso l'Institut National du Bâtiment et des travaux publics/Kinshasa-RDC.
