Im Rahmen des Schwerpunktprogramms 546 der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft zum Thema "Geochemische Prozesse mit Langzeitfolgen im anthropogen beeinflussten Sickerwasser und Grundwasser" haben Geowissenschaftler, Chemiker, Physiker, Mikrobiologen, Ingenieure und Mathematiker zusammengearbeitet. Das vorgelegte Buch beschreibt unterschiedliche Ideen, Konzepte und Ergebnisse, die zur Modellierung des reaktiven Stofftransports im Sickerwasser und im Grundwasser vor diesem Hintergrund erarbeitet wurden.
