To approach an analysis from the concept of geoeconomics implies the need to understand this new area of studies that currently generates an important impact on the knowledge of geopolitics originated in the twentieth century.Geoeconomics, within the new dynamics of interdependence and globalization in international markets, allows us to understand the behavior and the strengthening of the power of emerging countries as great economic powers within the same geographical area and the configuration of new regional economic blocs that try to adjust to current market trends.The emergence of the rule of law can be traced back to the Aristotelian theory of the mixed constitution, to the thought of Marcus Tullius Cicero on moderation, practical reason and republican vocation, and to Thomas Aquinas on the moderation of government and its subjection to ethics and due law.
