A geological study of the Kalehe Kibaran (Kivu Supergroup) was carried out using a cartographic, petrographic, structural and geological approach in the Nyamukubi mining polygon in Kalehe territory. We present the different geological formations outcropping there as well as the different planar and linear structures that have affected them; the results of LPNA and LPA analysis of target samples, prepared and analysed in the laboratory of the Bukavu geological museum and the BGR. Field observations and analyses show an outcrop of metasediments, granitic rocks and intermediate rocks within which quartz veins are observed in abundance in directions parallel to the layers and in certain places, these quartz veins are multidirectional. The structural analysis also shows a schistosity parallel to the stratification planes; two phases of deformations: (D1) compressive, responsible for the formation of the folds and (D2) brittle, which would be responsible for the emplacement of the minerent of the mineralizations.
