The cartography, the study of the drillings, the tectonics, and the geochemistry of the kerkouz zone of the central jbilets allowed to release main information of which we can quote: The formations present in the kerkouz zone are of viséen superior age namely the veins of quartz, the basic dykes, the carbonates, the iron caps, and the casing of all these preceding formations: the schists of sarlef. Quartz structures (quartz veins) have a main direction from N0 to N30, these veins are generally located in the east of the studied area and correspond to the great fault N20 existing at this place. The sector of kerkouz is characterized by a folding of iron caps in isoclinal folds resulting from the ductile deformation that this region has undergone. The tectonics of the study area presents soft deformations (ductile deformation) which affected the studied iron cap in isoclinal folds, as well as brittle deformations (dry faults of a main direction N20 and others with a direction of N80 to N100, fractures, sintering and dextral faults...). The chemical analyses show important contents in the soil.
