Dr. Samir Samy, Prof. of Physical Geography and former Head of the Dept. of Geography at the Fac. of Arts - Cairo Univ. He has many books (In Arabic), including Cairo - Land and Man, in addition to many researches - especially in geomorphology, and the recipient of several awards, including the Cairo Univ. Prize for Scientific Excellence.
