Autorenporträt
Erika Renee Land is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. After graduating from high school, Erika enlisted in the United States Army, where she served for six and a half years, with a one year deployment to Mosul, Iraq in 2005. In 2009, Erika's military career ended, and she relocated to Athens, Georgia to attend the University of Georgia (UGA). Along the way, she discovered a hidden passion for writing and literature. Erika found that writing is more than just a passion, it also serves as a therapeutic tool, helping her cope with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which stems from her war experiences. Erika has written opinion articles for Yahoo! Voice's though she mainly focuses on poetry and fiction.
