This implies that traffic emission within urban Zaria is not within the safe limits, revealing that transport-related pollution in Zaria urban area can be potentially hazardous to health.The main finding of this research is the comparison between spatial and non-spatial analysis approaches, which indicates that correlation analysis and buffer analysis of GIS using the concentration levels of detected air pollutants is relative method for assessing the health effects of air pollution.
