Autorenporträt
The Author: Matthias K. Schirmeier is English Language Officer for the German Army. He received his Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, and his M.A. in English language and literature, French language and literature, and modern history from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. In addition to writing articles for linguistics journals, Schirmeier is also co-author of Cornelia Goethe - Briefe und Correspondance Secrète 1767-1769, the first translation of the private French correspondence of the sister of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Germany's most famous poet.
