Janine Whiteson, M.Sc., received a master of science degree in nutrition from King's College London. As nutrition director at the largest sports club in England, she designed, implemented, and helped franchise a nutrition and exercise program. She has appeared on television shows and in magazines in both the United Kingdom and United States. Currently, she has a private practice in Manhattan, where she lives with her husband and their 2-year-old son. Marion Rosenfeld is former restaurant editor of newyork.sidewalk.com and former managing editor of Spy magazine. She has produced and written numerous network and cable TV specials and shows, including Talking Food on the Food Network and Epicurious on the Discovery Channel. Lisa Hark, R.D., Ph.D., served as medical advisor for this book. She is director of the nutrition education and prevention program at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia.
