This is the true story of the Apache Kid. General George Crook was quoted, "The Apache Kid was the most cunning, intelligent, ruthless Indian that ever lived." Crook went on to say, Geronimo was a saint compared to the Kid. The Army thought the Indian wars were over after Geronimo surrendered in 1886, but the Kid waged war by himself or with other renegades until he disappeared in 1899
