Marjorie Weinman Sharmat has been called "a shining star as a storyteller" by Publishers Weekly. Her many popular books include I Don't Care and What Are We Going to Do About Andrew? for young children; Griselda's New Year, Mitchell Is Moving and Sophie and Gussie for beginning readers; and several novels for older children. After many years in New York State (one of them at 165 East 95th Street, New York City) she now lives in Tucson, Arizona. Byron Barton is a creator of children's picture books. His works have received six ALA Notable Book Awards, five SLJ Best Books of the Year selections, and two Reading Rainbow picks. Prior to working in children's literature, Barton was an animator for CBS.
