Autorenporträt
Dr. Nafisa Aptekar was born in Mumbai, India, and lived there during the earlier part of her life. In Mumbai, she practiced as a radiologist. However, life took a sharp turn when the family emigrated to Canada in 2000, and Dr. Aptekar had to undergo the arduous process of obtaining a Canadian medical license. In 2007, she qualified to work as a family physician and has been practicing in Brampton, Ontario, since then. She lives there with her husband Jacob.
