This book examines how the making and distribution of documentary films has been impacted by the use of new digital technology, and how these digital tools have changed the relationship that the filmmakers have to their audience. By focusing on the making of the documentary film "Give Up Tomorrow," directed and produced by Marty Syjuco and Michael Collins, this study shows how documentaries are evolving in our constantly changing digital landscape, and how we can maximize these changes to bring about justice and create more effective social change.
