Have you ever thought about what you'd do if you won the lottery? I mean, like an astronomical figure north of two hundred million dollars. Who would you tell? Who would you trust to manage your money? What would you buy? And, how much would you give away and to whom? While most of us might simply say, "Just give me the dough, and I'm sure I can figure it out." Truth is, I doubt many of us would really know the answers to those questions until we were faced with such a stunning windfall, and then it begs the existential question: How would it change your life? These are the issues that Nathan Andrews confronts as he barrels headlong into great wealth and faces sudden questions about his personal relationships, who he is, and what his life is all about.
Autorenporträt
During his adult life Stuart Fabe has enjoyed a couple of diverse but very meaningful careers, ranging from raising charitable dollars for important institutions, to creating art, and writing novels. He began his professional life in the early 1970s working with delinquent and at-risk children who appeared in juvenile court. He then focused on organizing and conducting successful fundraising campaigns for vital organizations such as Cincinnati Children's Hospital, the Jewish Hospital, and the Cincinnati Zoo.Throughout the decades that he raised charitable funds, Stuart always maintained a photographic darkroom where he escaped the rigors ofhis daily work to print fine art photographs that he exhibited at art shows and galleries throughout the Midwest. In 2005 he moved away from Cincinnati, Ohio, to Putnam County, Indiana, to concentrate on creating art full-time, including intricate weaving on hardshell gourds and photographing the world around him and the heavens above. It wasn't until ten years ago, however, that he began writing suspense novels in a serious way. Stuart is fascinated by doing research for his books and creating intriguing stories with memorable characters."Given Names" is his tenth novel and begs the questions: "What would you do if you won the lottery? Who would you tell? And, what would you give away?"He enjoys the solitude of living in the bucolic countryside near Greencastle with his life-partner, Marla, and together they contribute to the health and well-being of their family, their community, and their animals and friends.
