After 30 years of working in academia, I walked away from a tenured position as an associate professor to embrace my passion, accept my calling and serve as assistant pastor in Leesburg, Florida. If you are stuck and unhappy in your career or if you are successful and find yourself being called by God to give it all up and work in ministry, this book is written just for you. Its message will encourage and inspire you to answer the call of God in your life. It will give you the courage to walk away and embrace your passion; trust and obey God; walk by faith, not by sight; and come to a glorious end. Call to Action: As a fourth generation female minister and pastor, I've learned some things. Therefore, I am calling you to action to assess whether you are living the call of God in your life. *Have you been overlooked as a woman minister? *Have you been treated as less-than your male counterparts in ministry? *Do you know you have been called, but you have not been accepted or acknowledged? *Do you have a passion for God, but you can't find your place? *Are you chained to a career you paid for, but find it difficult to walk away and embrace the passion you were made for? *Are you ready to embrace your passion, your purpose and your full potential? If you have responded affirmatively to any of the above questions, this book is written to inspire and encourage you to take a leap of faith into a life of freedom, purpose and passion!
