This book is a first hand experience look at the powerful journey out of extreme addiction with the single and most important element being God and a football team of angels helping and guiding all the way. It's delivery is humorous and yet heart felt. My own desire in getting it published is a strong belief that it can help others escape the clutches of addiction and move to a happy and fulfilling purposeful life that God intends for all of us to have. I don't preach and don't give all the answers just the ones that have truly be given to me in an extraordinary way and in most cases brushing with what one could only describe in our limited understanding as the supernatural. I have survived many near death experiences and moved back into life and am still powerfully guided by God and his angels.

Autorenporträt
"Gladiators of Light" By Thomas Fairfoot Foreword by author This book "Gladiators of Light" was first written over 15 years ago. Since then I have continued to write and learn more around the subject of overcoming addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma and have been genuinely very much guided in my thoughts and life to a more productive and happy life. A lot of my current writing on this area is at: www.quantummeetsspirit.com This book has already helped many addicts and people suffering from extreme depression and trauma. So in that, I am very glad and haven't changed the text of the main book, as it was written in the early days of my escape from addiction and has still a powerful resonance with people battling with these issues coming from that perspective. Gladiators of light was also my first powerful brush with what can only be described as the supernatural and the beginning of a genuine conversation and guidance from God and his angels on a constant basis, which continues, trust me, to amaze me as well. My perspectives have become a little more rounded and educated to the subject matter. But I like "Gladiators of light" as it reveals the naive me discovering a lot of the powerful truths that I further evolve in later books and articles. I decided not to edit it, to make it more concise or polished, as again I quite like the rambling conversational style that evolved mostly out of shock and trying to come to understand what I had experienced. As a writer currently on this subject, I look at all areas of perspective on these topics more recently labelled as Mental health issues that affect us all, not just addicts. Lifestyle, attaining goals and moving from negative thought patterns. Mine is therefore, just another perspective, on what is up to now been labelled as self help. Self help traditionally has been perceived as a weak position of someone who needs help and assistance to achieve personal fulfilment and their goals. People with negative thought patterns which express in behaviours such as addiction, depression and self sabotage or Just leading a self imposed limited life. And this how it is treated, as powerlessness. An image of having failed before you start. Such is the stigma attached to addiction and mental health issues. We are powerless over any drug or substance, and or situation we may be in, but NOT how we choose to live with it, deal with it, or our perspective on it.
