It is considered as "Queen of bulbous plants". Gladiolus is classified on the basis of size of flowers in Asia i.e. grandiflorus, primulinus, butterfly and miniature.The present investigation revealed that, in general, growth regulators were effective in increasing yield and quality of gladiolus. On the basis of present studies it can be concluded that in respect of cultivationof gladiolus corm soaking treatment of GA3 at 200 ppm was effective for enhancing growth, flowering, quality and yield of spike and corms.
