In Las Vegas the 1940's saw mob influence in the growth of casino gambling, betting wires, prostitution and drugs. Private eye Jack Beech gets involved in two cases: one a search for a missing girl, and the other a search for missing diamonds stolen from Virginia Hill, Bugsy Siegel's girlfriend.
