Linda Schneider is Professor of Sociology at SUNY-Nassau Community College. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from Columbia University. Dr. Schneider has published in the ASA journal, Teaching Sociology, contributed to panel discussions at the Eastern Sociological Society, the Community College Humanities Association, the Community College General Education Association, and the American Association of Community Colleges. She has directed several grants from the NEH, the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education, and the National Science Foundation for multidisciplinary and global curriculum development.
