His background is in molecular biology, virology, neuro-immunology, and drug abuse research. S. Balaji, PhD, is an Associate Professor (Sr. Scale) in the Department of Biotechnology, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka-576104, India. His background is in biochemistry, bioinformatics and drug design.
