This book presents evolving language teacher education trends in the United States in the wake of globalization from the perspectives of teacher candidates and faculty/administrators of a Southwest US university. This book is the result of an interpretive study that was intended to explore influences of globalization on K-12 language teacher education in the US. The study was guided by the interpretive paradigm of inquiry in which both qualitative and quantitative data were collected, analyzed and interpreted to explore the evolving language teacher education trends in the US, in the wake of globalization.
