The crux of the matter in this study piece is to examine the nexus between Globalization and the Challenges of 3rd world Countries focusing on Nigerian security challenges as a case study.Since the twentieth century, intensifying global transformations have being recognized as a condition that has breed struggle for society leadership and cultural leadership which has led to spread of religious extremism of the jihadist, Al-Qaeda, Islamic State in Iraq&Syria (ISIS),Al-Shabaab&Boko Haram Islamic sect movements to name a few.In the United States, there was the Al-Qaeda terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre on September 11, 2001 and similar attacks in Britain, Spain and other parts of Europe within the same period of time which have made the act of terrorism to be having a global awareness. Since 2001 till the period of this work, there has being various form of sectarian clashes across local societies, namely in Iraq, Syria and various parts in Africa, including Nigeria. All connected to the spread of international security challenge around the globe.
