This paper is based on the presentation of the debates and results of a research conducted within the project "Economic Logics and Contemporary Spatial Practices: Medium-sized Cities and Consumption", evaluated and approved by the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo - FAPESP, as a Thematic Project, 2011/20155-3. It is a theoretical-methodological proposal and analytical perspective to understand the (re)structuring of the urban network, in view of the expansion of scalar articulations given the expansion of processes, such as urbanization, whose reflections come from the Globalization process. Thus, we will focus on the analysis of data and exports and imports of medium-sized cities of Presidente Prudente, Marília and São Carlos, obtained in the platform of the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), linked to the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
